Spring is Here!
Yes, there's still snow and our nights might be a little cold. But the annual spring bird migration is in full swing. When we see the skeins of geese overhead, we know spring is here. On April 20th we filmed the annual Anchorage and Mat-Su Audubon Hawk watch along the Glenn Highway, near Sheep Mountain Lodge. We filmed dozens of hawks and eagles, and even more happy hawk watchers! Our home is in Anchorage but when we go to work it might be anywhere in Alaska. This summer we're planning trips to Denali National Park, Ketchikan, Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Kenai Fjords, Fairbanks, Eagle... well the list is even longer! It's going to be an ambitious filming season which we hope to share with you with new DVD titles!
